Art Passport Rules

The passport rewards genuine participation, curiosity, and engagement beyond the classroom.
Submit Experience ↗
1
One submission per event.

An event may only be claimed once, even if it could fit more than one category.

2
Submit your own verification image.

Your image should reasonably demonstrate that you attended or participated in the event.

3
No duplicate images.

Images may be reviewed and verified. Points may be removed if the same image is reused for multiple submissions.

4
Each student submits individually.

Even when attending with classmates or a group, each participant must submit their own Art Passport entry.

5
Choose the most accurate category.

Select the category that best represents the experience. Faculty may reclassify an entry when appropriate.

6
Experiences must involve meaningful participation.

Simply passing through a venue or briefly appearing at an event does not necessarily qualify for points.

7
External experiences must be relevant.

Off-campus events should have a clear connection to art, design, creative practice, culture, or professional development.

8
Complete both semester requirements.

Students must meet the semester point minimum and attend the required number of Xavier Art Gallery events. Extra points do not replace the gallery requirement.

9
Variety bonuses are leaderboard bonuses.

Bonus points reward breadth of experience but do not replace the minimum raw-point requirement for semester completion.

10
Faculty review is final.

Submissions, categories, verification images, and awarded points may be reviewed, corrected, or removed when necessary.

11
Experiences must occur during the current semester.

Only events attended during the semester in which they are submitted are eligible for points. Past events, experiences, or verification images from previous semesters may not be reused or submitted for credit.

Current semester requirements are displayed in the progress dashboard above. Requirements and point values may be adjusted by the Xavier University Department of Art.
